Antique Japanese fishing floats

Just landed instore, these beautiful antique fishing floats.

Floats vary in colour and were most commonly made from recycled sake bottles

Glass floats would often escape their nets and were found washed up on beaches around the world. Beachcombing for these glass floats became a hobby in the 1950’s and since the advent of plastic and foam floats in the 1970s, these rare gems are highly sought after by collectors all over the world. We have four sizes - small $6, medium $10, large $140 and the extra large are $180 (and they are BIG!)

On her road trip through Victoria, Carmel discovered the gorgeous jewellery of Cat Hammill. Born from a love of creating something individual, but relaxed enough to wear everyday, all designs and charms are custom made.

Each piece is handmade to give an individual look, made up of components of leather, semi precious stones, Brazilian olive wood, hand cast silver plated charms, Czech glass, soft Greek leather, coconut wood and gemstones.

To make it simple, Cat has designed the multiple bracelet set, offering a complete look in one purchase.

The necklaces are designed to be worn layered, creating a funky Bohemian look.

Cat has used the best quality silver and gold plating, designed to be worn everyday, but still must be cared for and is not meant to be exposed to water.

The charms are all lead and nickel free.

We have a great selection of Cat's pieces instore now, and we are looking forward to seeing Cat's winter range that will be released in March!

We are now stocking Malka's sweet cinnamon oil and scented cinnamon bundles. Small bundles $12, large bundles $35 and the 10ml refresher oil is $17 (also great in your oil burner!). It smells amazing and is great for repelling silverfish and moths (excellent to put in the linen cupboard or car!)
